I maintain that the main cause of his injuries is that when hr is available he is overplayed. Argentina don’t want to rest him, we have been reluctant to rest him. So he played for a long period of time every match that he was fit for. The only player that got away with doing that for us this season was Pedro Porro who must be looking over his shoulder now to see Elijah (Samuel L Jackson).

I fully expect that if Romero stays with us, he will suffer fewer injuries next season as he actually gets to have a summer break this year. I think that having a summer break will be huge for so many players through the league. I wouldn’t be shocked if players who were out of form this season for their respective clubs, due to being overplayed at international level over the previous summer, return to form.

And so with Romero, I think he will find his best levels this coming season and suffer fewer injuries. He will take us places and to continued success.

Not a big fan of Romero but we can't keep him on if he's gonna run down his contract. Poch got fudged over by Eriksen doing that in my opinion. Levy needs to take a hit - this is the modern game.
