How average are the senior folk in this current cabinet. The Cameron cabinet at least had intelligent and competent folk in it. Now they have the likes of Sharma, Raab, Truss, Patel, Williamson, Hanc*ck. I also don't think Labour has much talent either.

If we had years to play with, I'm sure we could come as close to absolute proof as biology ever allows. Given that we don't and that we have to get the economy going again immediately, assuming that things will act in the same way as all the other thousands of things that are like them is a good bet.

But I can see them adding a few new faces that are less obviously that way in an effort to placate the dissenting voices - now Brexit is out of the way, it leaves a hole for extra scrutiny and the likes of Williamson, Patel and Hanrooster could easily be removed as sacrificial lambs
