Really not sure what point you are trying to make?
Managers with track records and not naive, and know what they need. Are brick for us?
Yes. It’s quite clear. Managers who know what it takes to win and have history of knowing what it takes cannot change the current owners model. In itself they are naive in thinking that the board will change their ways to accommodate.

So there in itself is the problem. Our board seem to prefer yes men and those that will work within the constraints of the set up. Managers who win cannot work within the parameters given at Tottenham. All clubs have their own parameters but our owners are not as ambitious for on the pitch matters.

So we have managers who are happy to do the job and get a massive payout when it inevitably fails. Always the managers fault

So you think the next manager we should go for should be naive and not know what they are doing?

Ok.

When we initially got him it was because Paul Kemsley kept telling Levy that Redknapp was the only guy who could get a short-term spark. As I remember it the plan was never for Harry to be long-term, but the better he did, the harder it was to move him on. Let's just say that I don't think Redknapp's love of media and his own place in it excited Levy much...
I don't think Harry was a short term appointment but more a common sense one. I don't believe or recall there being any desire to get rid of him until the England job situation popped up. I still think it was a mistake to get rid of hin because we went downhill again for a period until Poch popped up.

They were after AVB too.

Helpfully Ange will have better rapport with Norwegian fans than Andre did during our last visit to Norway

Some convincing we paid portsmouth £5m compensation for him. Lets hope we get another "short-term spark".

It was always Kemsley who wanted Redknapp/was his mate. He looked to try and line him up when BMJ was potentially flirting with Saudi Sportswashing Machine as I understand it, and when Ramos got sacked, it was Kemsley who convinced Levy Redknapp was the right man to get us out of a short-term mess. So yes, some convincing indeed.

Of course Levy couldn't sack him as he was doing a good job. But everything Harry did was against the way Levy likes to work. I think what Redknapp did re: the England job and essentially losing focus with us was terrible. He did it to himself. The Rosie stuff too...I think he dealt the silliest of self-blows when squeaking for a new contract as Levy's mother had passed/during shiva (so it is said). Unwise.

Rent a quote was a arsehole and bent as a nine bob note, hated the fact that he was once manager of our GREAT club. Levy sacked him when he found out that he was going behind the clubs back and lifting his skirt for the England job.

Surely Levy knows business is business?
