Conor Gallagher

We can question their passing ability, but isn't their roll in a double pivot to shield the back line, break up attacks, and start build-up play, allowing more attacking freedom for other players further up the pitch? I could see Sarr and Gallagher being perfect for this. One screnes, tackles the other provides an outball or wins the second ball, then play it forward into attack. They can both also support attacks and chip in with goals.

I think Gallagher could be the perfect partner for Sarr. RIght now Palhinha is on fire, and will partner Gallahger. But longer term could see them forming a partnership.
The problem is one would be up pressing at LW, the other at RW and there would be a massive hole at DM. It would be like the issues Hojbjerg would cause us defensively - he'd be everywhere on the pitch, except where he needs to be. Jenas too

Even with a DP, you generally need one to be fairly static, with strong positional awareness. Ideally that one is a passer to compliment the engine room next to him

I know they all have to seemed please to be joining but this guy looks genuinely happy to be here. Do we know what team he supported as a kid?

No idea but Spurs have shown interest in him for years, so must help from that perspective of feeling wanted.

I have to say, I can’t remember such an outpouring of social media posts by the club at a signing as this one. Clearly some changes behind the scenes

Gallagher could also play the number 10 role à la MGW.

Would we perhaps start him in the Kudus role against West Ham? Put Palhinha and Gray together and maintain Xavi in the 10 role.

I swear I used to see him do a load of good work in the right channel. I'm thinking when he was at Baggies or Palace.

Possible but the logical move would be play Tel, Xavi, Odobert (as that has looked the most effective), start RKM swap to Solanke in CF, with Paulhinha and Gallagher behind.

It doesn't matter, it's only important to children. I'd have played for any professional team so would virtually every amateur I've met.
