The problem is one would be up pressing at LW, the other at RW and there would be a massive hole at DM. It would be like the issues Hojbjerg would cause us defensively - he'd be everywhere on the pitch, except where he needs to be. Jenas tooWe can question their passing ability, but isn't their roll in a double pivot to shield the back line, break up attacks, and start build-up play, allowing more attacking freedom for other players further up the pitch? I could see Sarr and Gallagher being perfect for this. One screnes, tackles the other provides an outball or wins the second ball, then play it forward into attack. They can both also support attacks and chip in with goals.
I think Gallagher could be the perfect partner for Sarr. RIght now Palhinha is on fire, and will partner Gallahger. But longer term could see them forming a partnership.
Even with a DP, you generally need one to be fairly static, with strong positional awareness. Ideally that one is a passer to compliment the engine room next to him
