Conor Gallagher

Very good signing, completed without any fuss or delay. Well done Spurs.

I love the fact that we've gone out and bought ourselves an oven ready number who can go straight into the first team with no PL adaptation required. Not only that but signed a number 8 who is a clear first choice being better than the number 8s at the club already.
Yea very similar to how we bought our managers first choice RW Kudus in the summer, what was it a few days from rumour to signed?

I know they all have to seemed please to be joining but this guy looks genuinely happy to be here. Do we know what team he supported as a kid?

If you go by transfermkt figures for this seasons summer and winter windows inc Gallaher but not Veliz , score so far, purchases 250 million euros sales 82 million euros but I expect the usual negative spin will be put on it.
Yea if we go back to Levy’s time then we’ll for sure see a significant net spend.

Have to admit I know little about him and his playing style, but if he's captained Chelski and been a regular for Diego Simeone's Athletico Madrid, he surely can't be too shabby.

Some have suggested Sarr would suffer from this signing. But I think Gallagah and Sarr could work well together. Almost the definition of a double pivot? Both combative. Both able to drive forward with the ball.

What exactly is a DP??? :)

Neither has positional discipline. Neither are great passers. It would be chaotic

We can question their passing ability, but isn't their roll in a double pivot to shield the back line, break up attacks, and start build-up play, allowing more attacking freedom for other players further up the pitch? I could see Sarr and Gallagher being perfect for this. One screnes, tackles the other provides an outball or wins the second ball, then play it forward into attack. They can both also support attacks and chip in with goals.

I think Gallagher could be the perfect partner for Sarr. RIght now Palhinha is on fire, and will partner Gallahger. But longer term could see them forming a partnership.
