Cody Gakpo

My Everton supporting friends tells me that Ndiaye is a match of the day player. Looks great in moments but can be complete enominous.

I wouldnt go for either to be honest. I think we have great wing options now.

#10 is the gap in our squad due to them all being injured.
I watched him quite a bit at United. He was streets ahead of MGW

That is last season (where every Liverpool player bar 1 struggled).

If you look over the last 3 seasons, a few things pop up

- Gakpo has 43 goals in all comps (vs 21 in all comps for Ndiaye)
- Gakpo has played 154 games for club in 3 seasons (vs 117 for Ndiaye)
- Gakpo is 5" taller, and only one year older

Unless Ndiaye is really just "the cheap option"/some kind of Richi swap deal (and that in itself is an issue), not sure why we would go for him.

This team needs height and goals, Gapko is ahead imo on both of those.
Savio and Odobert are our Ndiaye-style tricky wingers. Kudus is also excellent in this regard., and Tel is coming on in leaps and bounds with beating his man.

We need height, strength and an eye for goal.
