Clinton Njie

The things he's getting wrong at the moment I can quite easily see him overcoming.

Also there's a confidence about the way he plays when he gets in and around the box that I like. Could explain how he got so many goals/assists in not that many starts last year

Definitely worth sticking with

I think he looks ok so far considering he's in his first season in England and has had very little playing time. I don't think we can really make a proper judgement on him until early next season however.
Or the season after that depending on his game time.

He is still raw and i have not seen anything from this lad to excite me. He seems to be to quick for his own good and has quite bad control because of this. Will obviously give him a chance to settle and get more game time but he has to improve alot to be any better than what we have.

The pace alone excites me and his cameo appearance against Emirates Marketing Project showed plenty of glimpses of talent.

I still think he looks like one that will need quite a lot of time to settle in. Based on that judging him on his performances so far seems ridiculous.

He dose have talent and he has pace. If he wants to work hard to fit in and improve under Pochettino real good things could come of that.

I wasn't very impressed looking at his Youtube match highlights (where they show all the player's touches) prior to us signing him. But the little I have seen him in a Spurs shirt, he looks like a player who with time will become pretty good. Like a Mane, but with a bit more skill.

Not impressed so far but still very, very early days of course.

But when are you ever impressed? I'm taking your comment as a glowing endorsement of young Clinton... Now if you had of said you think he's fudging woeful and you want him sold in January, then I might believe that you're not impressed.

Sorry, have I upset you? You seem to have taken offence at my post.

If we didnt need one before, this injury to N'jie surely has to kick the management to seek an additional forward to help Kane up front. And I dont mean Jan 31st either, we need to making a signing in the first week, bearing in mind we have a run of 3 games in 8 days early in the month.

Unfortunately we all know that wont happen, and although it would not be a bad thing, we will probably bid for Charlie Austin at 6pm on the last day

Couldn't agree more.
