clarkson uses the N word

Clarkson saying something controversial shocker. A new series of Top Gear or a new book must be just round the corner, usually coincides with a macaronic statement by him. Utter xenophobic **** with little talent.

Now it's been made public, the BBC offered the guy his job back but, perhaps unsurprisingly, he's said no.

Well, at least it's taught me that 'The Sun Has Got His Hat On' makes that reference. Who knew?

am I splitting hairs or is there a difference between it being played in a song on live radio and the possible mumbling of it on never broadcast rushes?

also think it was very harsh for the dj to be fired, it's not like the old days, they don't play their own vinyls, that song was on the system, all he did was click play, you'd think it reasonable to assume that the bbc would clear the tracks on their system first

Agreed. I'm pretty sure any song they play has been pre-bleeped for swearing so DJs would never need to consider content, they just hit buttons.

As JM said, I had no idea of the content of the song and I'm pretty sure very few others do too.
