*** CL MD4 OMT Tottenham Hotspur v FC Copenhagen ***

Need a result, but almost as importantly we need a decent performance.

By no means expecting an easy game, but a significantly worse opponent than Chelsea and we need to show our quality unlike in some of the other CL games.

Shame to be without Gray and Bergvall. Can't really afford to take risks with Kudus and Spence either. Several other players who probably could do with a bit of a rest. Would like to see Odobert, Udogie and Simons start. Looked a somewhat promising combination before Udogie and Odobert picked up injuries and a chance for Simons to show something.

Simons should start and the UCL has to be where he thrives. We can say that the Premier League is too quick for him, but matches like tonight that shouldn’t hold true. If he can’t even turn up tonight v Copenhagen then there are other issues than just the pace of the game.

Wasn't intending to go (wanted to save powder for Dortmund in new year) but been handed tickets by peeps now not able to attend.....
Oh well.

Attacking football please.

3-1 Spurs, after conceding early is my prediction

TF says Copenhagen have a very good coach and that they play good football.

I therefore assume they will press us, and lock us to one side of the pitch and win it back so we can NEVER progress up the pitch.

Especially if Kudus has a knock and/or needs a rest. Imagine if our plan is for B Johnson to win the ball?

I would like to see a different setup e.g. no wingers or no striker or all 3 Muani Richie Johnson playing narrow so they might win a flick on from our aimless hoofs out. Just SOMETHING different
