Champions League 25/26

Inter pushing hard now, leaving a lot of room for counter attacks. 3 goals though, they need to score another one pretty soon to stand a chance.

The thing with Bodø is that they’re a good team. Take any one of them and put them into our team, and they would suck (like the rest of them tbh).
Stand out player though.
Bit like years ago when Andy Robertson played for Dundee Utd then Hull, was obviously a good player and worth the £2m/£12m. Same as Jarrod Bowen, stood out a mile and was worth taking a chance on.

Just getting Knudsen in as a coach wouldn’t necessarily do anything for us, but if we could get a director of football in that could study what they are doing up in Bodø, and base our football operations on that - we might be able to do something.

I do fear that having multi million pound earning players with millions of Instagram followers, wardrobes upon wardrobes of designer clothes, living it up with celebrities and expensive cars and what have you - isn’t the best setup necessarily. Teams do it all the time, of course, but I reckon a team of close knitted players that are also friends that would die for one another - perhaps have a better chance of performing well together. If we somehow could combine that down to earth togetherness and football philosophy with the talent we’ve got - who knows what could be achieved.

The main things are continuity, a clear direction that EVERYONE at the club follow, sticking with their style and identity no matter what or who they are playing and a total focus on performance, not results.
That's their main strategy and vision.

I don’t thiink Knudsen would be given enough time to succeed at a bigger club. He would be a good fit for a Brighton or Brentford, IMO.

Has been absolutely magical for Bodø/Glimt, and as @Kandi1977 says along with a whole club and a dedicated group of players pulling in the same direction with a clear strategy.
