Big night for Norwegian football (again) against teams from Madrid. Bodø win in Madrid with the Atletico goal scored by a Norwegian (Sørloth). Benfica beat Real Madrid, with two goals from Schjelderup, who is originally from Bodø, and the assist for the winner provided by another Norwegian, Aursnes.

It was a great result - probably the biggest now in hindsight.

Not to diminish it but we were very fortunate that they had so many first XI players missing - could have been very different, bit of luck going our way for a change!

They only missed two. A CB and a winger. Both usually rotate with those who replaced them, so the difference is marginal. Their bench was a bit thin though.

They were terrible at ours though. Seriously, they could barely muster a forward pass. One of the worst teams I've seen at the the new stadium. So I'm astonished how well they are doing now.
