So apparently my car is now "Instagram famous" (according to my wife - I don't know how that stuff works).

This leaves me with 2 questions:
  1. Where's all the money that Instagram fame is supposed to bring? (Other than working as a clearly needed copywriter for the club's social posts).
  2. Who is Orion Carloto? She appears to be rather fine.

So I've finally been convinced of the virtues of electric cars.....

I've just ordered a Taycan 4S Sport Turismo, going to be the best part of a year before it turns up though. Apparently some inconsiderate fudgers in Ukraine aren't making my wiring looms.

supposed to be one of best EVs and the hatchback makes the car look better. Is it the one that has semi-off road credentials? A good family waggon that is rapid, and if you can charge at home and work it’s pretty awesome.

Try to get a charger installed before the government monitor you and take their tax cut.

I managed to buy a car someone else cancelled. Compromised the upgraded stereo but got it next day rather than half a year later which is crazy. It’ll be outdated by the time it arrives!

I went to the dealer and tried the Skoda Enyaq 80X.
fudge me what a car! Looks way better than the VW cars, and the Audi etron too. Drives much better too, has more space and lots more practical gadgets and storage solutions too. Just a brilliant car. If I had the money to buy an electric car now, it would be the Skoda!

After everything that has happened on this board in the last few weeks, it’s a joy to see you reverse-ferret on a sixpence when your dearly-held beliefs turn out to be unhelpful. If you can go from “torque’s not everything” and “cars should be noisy” to “my Turismo is taycan too long!” in less than two years, I’m definitely looking forward to next year’s Glory-Glory equality, diversity and inclusion policy.

The one without all the plastic trims and with a lower ride height.
