Cann we make the top 4 or 5?

72.1% seems very specific for something that has such a large number of variables. Let me guess another "super computer prediction"? Which is really an intern simulating it on football manager.

Edit - yep although it's the opta super computer. Walob.

Bunching of the pack behind, although TOT are not in an optimal position, even after the terrific and very important win vs AST.

Wowzers, Liverpool are streaking away with it, surely they won't bottle it from here?
City look tired; Gundogan, Kovacevic, DeBruyne creaking.
*Means only 10 games played. BIG day tomorrow for us and CHEvARS if one of them has title ambitions from here

Too early to say. Still think City will win it when they get their players back. Anyone but Arsenal.

City will buy someone maybe a couple in January
Key will be if pool keep the majority of their key players fit because I don’t see them dropping many points if so
Today I thought they were lucky with some big decisions

Got away with the penalty shout on Torres. Didn’t think the Watkins one was a penalty personally, Watkins went down far too easily. Nunez is a fudging woeful finisher. He makes Werner look like Haaland. That said, they’ve probably got the best attacking unit in the league on balance. City always have a wobble around this time of year. Seen articles on BBC saying “is this the end of Pep’s dynasty at City”. Will people ever learn to not get so carried away with form?!

When are we expecting the results of their case?

City have some big gaps in their squad which need filling regardless
They aren’t gonna disappear and will be right up there at the end of season

Not sure
I did read that it finished early… so it could be soon I guess
It’s all secret though

Guessing there may be an appeal so could be months. But if the preliminary decision is bad for city. It might put off players joining them. Especially as pep said he's leaving.

5 points at this stage of the season is nothing and City don't even get warmed up until the second half of season....

I’m not fully read up on it (who is)
But their appeal is very limited as this a prem only thing and they can’t take it to CAS

Agree. But the new panel would still have to go through the evidence. The lawyers will have to go through the decision before deciding the appeal. This after the original panel has come to a decision (how long will that take?).

So the question is whether Spurs can make top 4 or 5 this season. For me, the answer is a resounding yes after what I've seen this season.

I think a lot of us felt that City, Arsenal and Pool would be an automatic 1,2,3 in the league. That would leave Spurs fighting with Chelsea, Utd, Villa, Saudi Sportswashing Machine for the last CL place.

What we've actually seen is huge vulnerabilities from all the top clubs, except perhaps Pool. We've also seen Brighton and Forest ignoring the PL script and getting in amongst it.

If Ange can figure out the away game form, I would say we've got an amazing opportunity to get into the top 4. We're also only 6 weeks from the transfer window opening and perhaps we can close another couple of holes there as well.

Reasons to be optimistic.
