Watching Johnson tonight was interesting, he forced a couple of decent saves from the keeper, one sumptuous finish that was just offside and realistically with a decent ref should have earned a couple of penalties. I was watching on S4C and while my Welsh isn't perfect I got the idea that they were tinkled with the decisions (or lack of) especially considering the soft pen given against our gentle Ben.
Brennan looked very happy as a lone striker with wide forwards either side of him, you're not expecting him to be battering CBs around and dominating them in the air but running the channels well. Once Son is away on international duty for the Asian cup I certainly expect it to be Johnson filling in for the most part fitness permitting, he's definitely an excellent replacement to emulate what Son brings in that position.
On a side note Rodon also looked solid and combative, would be surprised if he doesn't get a decent permanent move somewhere come next summer.
