Ben Davies

For my money he has been a revelation this year, the back three I would not change next season I think they are red hot

He’s certainly making Paraticis job less pressured.

With games and good management players improve. Still not the most accomplished technically or physically but Davies is an asset, loyal and dependable (if a little limited at times, thing is these limitations are not exposed in Conte system too often). Probably deserving of a new contract. Couldn’t ask for a more professional squad player.

Agree but for me FB, CM and another Striker are more pressured, our back 3 has so much balance

I think we need an extra CB as a priority, assuming that Sanchez and Rodon are not fancied and are heading toward the exit - but i would be CM & both WB positions as a higher priority.

Once again he showed what a very good player he is and one who gets on with the game, not one who stands out but he has been very good this season.

This. He's the definition of a solid pro. Definitely not quick enough for LB any more, but he's good enough as a LCB. If we can get another solid season out of him, it'd hopefully help Paratici to fill some of the more gaping holes this summer.

He's been great defensively, still often bloody awful use of the ball. Loves a hospital pass does our Ben. [emoji28]

Can’t say I remember many of those in the recent games
Cab say I’ve seen him outs some great balls down the line though

That was one of my biggest qualms with his play, but I'll take safe, pedestrian passing if it means he's going to perform the defensive side of his game at a high level which he's showing he can do. He's 29 so he's still got years left in him, would be happy if he decided to retire at Spurs.
