Ridiculous to say they’re not trying…. Lloris is well past his best but that is just indicative of our (lack of) recruitment strategy at the club. Son is badly off form and now Richarlison and Kulu are back he should be on the bench. Kane has been head and shoulders our best player this season, without him we’d be (lower) mid-table.

Sadly, we don't have to! Conte seems to pretty much rigidly stick to his preferred formation rather than making the best of what he has. With PROPER wing backs, the midfield two might not be so exposed, but with Shy Sess and Doherty they get over run. Yet Conte keeps on.

Nothing wrong with how Kane is playing, banging in goals and our most creative player. You cover for his lack of ability to close down.
The prob is carrying Son that is doing fudge all. He's not creating, scoring or helping out the LWB when he's getting destroyed like Sess today.
Lloris is finished, you need to stop talking about players as if they are the same as about 5 years ago.

I lost count of the times Son left Sessegnon with 2 players today…. However IMO the real issue is the fact we play 3 CBs which means we’re outnumbered in the key parts of the pitch. If a team is to sacrifice the midfield and shore up the centre with 3 CBs then it needs absolute World class wing-backs, we don’t have those and are unlikely to ever get them.
