Crazy money, however I remember when Utd bought Ronaldo it looked like a stupid amount, especially after his first season in the PL when all he would do was pointless stepovers and not create anything

i was liking the bid there and not the fact they turned it down. I have said before that I thought he was perfect for us.

if we have bid for Martial then I wonder if it is a bit of pay back for the Dier and Rose tapping up.... Hopefully we'll put in a bid for a Chelsea player soon.... A public bud for a 12 month Costa loan would be good! ;o)

He is potential personified. I could not hand on heart say he is going to fulfil that potential.

Not really payback if they've been considering offloading him! Irrespective of whether it happens, very positive that we're at least looking at players of the calibre of Martial, Sanchez and Barkley, rather than taking punts on more GKN's and Janssens. Fingers crossed we get some success with it

Not really payback if they've been considering offloading him! Irrespective of whether it happens, very positive that we're at least looking at players of the calibre of Martial, Sanchez and Barkley, rather than taking punts on more GKN's and Janssens. Fingers crossed we get some success with it

it is payback as they won't want to risk making us stronger but the player may start playing up to try to force that now.

i think I havd read that we've already had indicative offers of over 20 million for Janssen.... spend 30 to 40 on Martial and allow Janssen to go for 25? Man Utd wouldn't sanction a sale to us anyway.

Janssen would be very good for a lower/mid table team. His hold up play is exceptional however thats not anywhere near as valued in a team which dominates possession. However, in a team which was under the cosh a lot of the team, a CF who can hold the ball up and bring others in is extremely useful

I'd like to give Janssen another season and see what he can do, he didn't score a lot but was still always in the game and held the ball up well. Now he's settled I think we should see what he can do.

I would bite their arm off and also go and secure Sessegnon now but allow him to stag at Fulham for this season.

I would be happy with a straight swap with the two.

Martial is quality.

It's a shame we never landed Willian when it looked like we would.............i think he would be perfect in a Poch team
