I would think, given his contract situation (up in the summer isnt it?) that he would be better served NOT signing a new deal now.

As a free/very cheap agent in January/Summer he will be in line for a much better signing on bonus, and possibly wages.

As i said earlier i have no idea why/if he would sign a new contract ( just like everyone else) but it does not surprise me if he does and it would also not surprise me to see him leave Utd either.

That's why poch did his best to beat the team and then stayed on to clap the OT faithful .... oh but by that time they had already left to get home to London
