Worryingly your so rightTell that to all the kids who commit suicide thanks to bullying.
This is one of most outdated lines there is I reckon. It’s just so not true.

It's the dictionary definition, not mine. I take each individual as I find them, but like most people I will generalise about about certain races. The woke don't like generalisation, but that's what humans do, I can't see it changing any time soon.No one ever said it was
However in the context of the conversation that calling someone a fat clam is the same as a black clam the scenarios are very different.
As far as I’m aware there have been no mass calls for fat people to fudge off back to where they came from or all the proper Londoners have had to move to Essex and the Home Counties because of the influx of fat people.
These are accusations which uk ethnic minorities have heard many a time.
So your protestations seem disingenuous as does your definition of racism.
But this isn’t going anywhere
Back to Ange
Out
Tosh, so what you are implying is that people can't have an opinion on something they haven't experienced.People who have never suffered due to the colour of their skin telling people who have how to feel does not belong in this thread.
Having the “mickey” taken out of you for a lifestyle choice is not the same as facing systemic or individual abuse due to one’s skin colour (or sexual orientation or gender).Tosh, so what you are implying is that people can't have an opinion on something they haven't experienced.
I am a vegetarian, and have been for over 60 years. Barely a day goes by when people don't take the micky out of me, even though I doubt 1% of them would actually slaughter the animal. The reality is I know I am in the minority, so I just laugh and get on with it. I just wish everybody could do the same about everything, then we would all get on so much better
BravoHaving the “mickey” taken out of you for a lifestyle choice is not the same as facing systemic or individual abuse due to one’s skin colour (or sexual orientation or gender).
Yes BUT it's an opinion based on zero experience. Get it?Tosh, so what you are implying is that people can't have an opinion on something they haven't experienced.
It doesn’t belong anywhere tbh. But get your point.People who have never suffered due to the colour of their skin telling people who have how to feel does not belong in this thread.
I’m sure Ange is gone this summerIt doesn’t belong anywhere tbh. But get your point.
Ange - maybe in maybe out - still burying my head in the sand after 10 weeks away until I see us play when I get back. Hard to see my vote remaining “in” but I want to see out the season with him and see how we look with players back. And of course how we do in the EL. But based on what I’ve read it’s hard to envisage another season of Ange - yet I would not be totally surprised if he gets the backing for next season.
Start planning another 10 week trip as a contingency plan, would be my adviceIt doesn’t belong anywhere tbh. But get your point.

It sure seems like nobody's interested in discussing him any more. I believe it's the first time I see a thread about the current manager turn into a debate on a totally different topic (but, admittedly, I'm a long-time poster but not a regular one).I’m sure Ange is gone this summer
I think that’s exactly why they are sticking with him now
Doing things the right way is rarely the Tottenham way and for once we seem to be doing things “better”

I have had numerous black friends of all ages, most have never experienced these prejudices. I can't help but think some people see racism where racism doesn't exist. This is probably the most tolerant country in the world, and once again, racism doesn't just happen in one directionHaving the “mickey” taken out of you for a lifestyle choice is not the same as facing systemic or individual abuse due to one’s skin colour (or sexual orientation or gender).
Once again then, you believe someone can not have an opinion on something because they haven't got any experience of it. I wonder how psychiatrists and psychologists manageYes BUT it's an opinion based on zero experience. Get it?
Believe me, the football is awful, regardless of whether we have injuries or notIt doesn’t belong anywhere tbh. But get your point.
