The whole injury’s and illness whilst not helpful is no excuse for our form. We are bar odd 45 minutes here and there not very good.

The league does not lie. The last 14 months do not lie.

He’s out of his depth. He’s won the lottery getting this job after his previous roles. All the leagues he’s managed in are league 1/2 level. Celtic are at best an upper middle championship side. Apart from Rangers rest of the league is league 1 level.

I’m shocked so many are giving him a pass. His points per game return is the worse we have seen in the better part of two decades.

His rotation and squad management has problems his naive style of football has problems. Ultimately it may be entertaining at points but it’s going to be left wanting.

If it’s now or end of season he has to go.

If we had a promising player with as much potential and top flight experience as Ange, we'd send them on loan to a Div1 side for a season and probably Championship next.

Why are we persisting with letting Ange learn on the job like this?

Because our chairman is shopping in Lidl and not Harrods mate.
We don't need the most expensive out there. I'll be perfectly happy with having Ange back once he's got some top level coaching experience.

We just need someone better than Scottish level for a couple of seasons while he learns somewhere else.

That implies to me that you might think he eventually has it in him to be successful for us right?

Prior to settling on Postecoglou from the mighty Scottish premiership we failed to secure a manager from the behemoth of the Erevidsie!

Yep. He has all the right traits but only pub level experience.

We can't afford to go through his learning curve with him - let him go and manage a little West Ham type club who can afford it until he has the experience

Well, we tried the so called best in the business and that didn’t work.

That's fair enough, but that may mean he cannot manage Spurs again.

If we are in another 2 year cycle and he comes back, then we've just gone through a cycle of nothingness. It would mean that our next appointment would have only lasted a couple of seasons and failed. If they do a 5 year stint then Ange will a lot older. Either way, he starts that next journey at least 63 years old.

Also, if he has the ability to adapt his methods in this PL environment then that means he could do that with us. I'm thinking that is the big question on most of our lips. He doesn't talk like someone who has flaws in his methodologies. He talks like someone that isn't going to change and expects everything to change around him.

He also talks like someone who has the right approach (at least for my preference).

There's obviously no certainty in these things but I don't think he lacks in ability or style - I think he needs to learn to outthink and outplan top level managers. He's never had to do that before.

Still very much out of me … a 2-1 reversal at home with a depleted squad are shoots of spring … this highlights everything to me

Reggie has been really good, madness he’s not taken some of the load off of others in the first half of the season.

Maybe my memory is bad but I don't recall him being a bad signing, a bit heads down in some games but definitely not a bad player. Has a great cross on him for example. Should have been rotated and given some minutes, he's better than a fair few starting PL left backs.

In for now.

We would play much better if our full backs played like full backs.

We would play much better if we weren't carrying wide forwards (Son/Werner/Johnson) in every game; better to put in another midfielder than play with 9 men like we regularly do.

The manager could sort all those things any time he chooses too, he picks the team and presume ably how they play. We could put others out wide as you suggest.

Look while the injury may not be directly related, it is clear that our players are being pushed to the limit that their bodies can actually handle. When your body is stressed to breaking point any one of your muscles can go at any one point in time.
