SELL HIM!! IMMEDIATELY!!
Nah, he was might not have been brilliant but no way was he absolute pants
He lost the ball a lot.Absolute pants is too far.... He didn't do anything shockingly bad, he just didn't do very much that was good despite us having lots of attacking possession in good areas.
Yeah he did unfortunately. However he didn't hide at least and what he was trying to do was the right choice (mostly) even if it didn't come off.He lost the ball a lot.
He's lucky he doesn't have a silly haircut and a foreign name - then he'd really be in trouble.Yeah he did unfortunately. However he didn't hide at least and what he was trying to do was the right choice (mostly) even if it didn't come off.
I said so after the Sunderland game. Townsend works for 15-20 minutes. After that he's so predictable, because he keeps doing what worked the first time, over and over again, so the defenders know exactly how to deal with him after he's done the same thing 2-3 times. I also said I'd hold my hands up and apologize if he played a 90 minute blinder in the next game. Well..... he didn't. As expected. His headless chicken routine works a lot better as a sub when the opposition is tired.
For 50% of the posters.... Of course for the other 50% of posters he is unlucky that he doesn't as then they would love him! He's lucky he doesn't have a silly haircut and a foreign name - then he'd really be in trouble.

Depends on which country you live inHe's lucky he doesn't have a silly haircut and a foreign name - then he'd really be in trouble.
What is the 'one trick' you think he has?
Yeah, apparently the Argentinian Spurs Supporters Club think he's a right clam.Depends on which country you live in
If he wants to be a squad player and used at the end of games fair enough, but he is not worth a starting place ( nearly 90 games for us and still has the same faults), for his own sake its probably best that he trys his luck elsewhere.
I'd rather have the 10-15m and replace him with a young player with the potential to improve - no use having backups not good enough (or potentially not good enough) for the first XI as you're at a disadvantage if you have to rely on them for more than the odd sub appearence
I think he is a limited player, but when he came on against Sunderland I thought he played very well indeed.Head down, run with the ball, do a couple of stepovers, run into a blind alley and go back again. He is as easy to read as a childrens book.
What tricks do you think he has?
