President Biden unveiled a set of reform proposals to overhaul the Supreme Court including term limits for justices and a more binding ethics code.

Biden is also calling for a constitutional amendment declaring that presidents do not have immunity from criminal prosecution for any crimes committed while in office, following the Supreme Court's July ruling granting Donald Trump immunity for "official acts" he committed as president.

With just under six months of his presidency left, Biden said that overhauling the Supreme Court will be a priority.

How can courts be explicitly political?

Apart from giving guns to lunatics like they are penny sweets, and having Taliban-style abortion laws, that's about the dumbest part of America.

We're sadly beyond that question and in the early stages of watching the courts simply become another arm of government/party policy. Yes. It's absolute madness.

Would be some good in that, but is there really a chance of getting any of that done?

President can crime as they want, supreme court justices don't have an ethics code they have to abide by. The lie of "small government" conservatism obvious to see if one wants to.

  • He repeated the abortion lie that Democrats are allowing abortions in the ninth month, saying: “They’re allowing the death of the baby after the baby is born.”
  • In response to what he would do on his first day in office, he said that he would “close the border” and “drill, baby, drill”.
  • Throughout the interview, which appeared to have been ended by his team after 40 minutes, Trump’s responses drew multiple gasps and shouts from the crowd.
