Big day in DC coming up. Electoral vote gets confirmed. Proud Boys get arrested. Don Jr and his crackpot wife will no doubt make embarassing speeches. Time to get the popcorn and watch it unfold.

I think there's a little way to go before celebrating fully. Trump is still CIC for a couple of weeks yet.
 
Ha ha what an idiot - he's managed to lose both the house and senate in 4 years. If he hadn't been such a cry baby then the Republicans would likely have taken loads of more moderate votes and retained the senate. Hopefully we'll see some actual sensible policies being implemented now.

I'm hoping the Trumpites and the actual conservative GOP members (of which there are suprisingly few) go to war and rip the party asunder.

The maga side will win of course but a new party might be formed as a result calving off some of the GOP support.

According to 538, it wasn't so much losing moderates that hurt them, it was delegitimising the election process losing him a chunk of his main support.
 
Are there still enough 'normal' politicians in the Republican party to band together and a flush out all the Trumpness from the last few years!? or are they all mad converts now with no way back?

I see Pence is not going to save Trump (he couldn't) in congress and is about to feel the full force of Trumps ire. Popcorn time.
