I think I've got Trump-fatigue already. I've hit peak-Trump.
When I see the words "dishonest press", "biased media", "fake news" I can only hear them in his voice.
It's all beginning to lose its meaning... he's winning!
So, there is little terrorist threat and Trump has got it all wrong, but then again it's all a plot by trump to use a terrorist attack to grab almost unprecedented powers.
A bit contradictory.
Isn't a direct link like the country the attacker was born in a little simplistic though?I don't think that the article says that there is little threat. There is clearly a very real and imminent threat. Just that the main threat does not come from the countries targeted.

When there have been zero attacks from anyone on the Muslim Ban list it begs the question why ban people from these countries. The ban has been celebrated by ISIS as a recruiting tool. In my opinion there is nothing done by the Trump administration that is any good for people who have one iota of compassion and kindness in their bodies. If he can create conditions for a terrorist attack it will allow him to invoke emergency powers and ignore the courts and ride roughshod over our rights.Isn't a direct link like the country the attacker was born in a little simplistic though?
If there are some countries in this world whose residents are mainly Muslamic Infidels, banning immigration from those countries will at the very least reduce the spread of the disease in the US. Which, in turn, should reduce the number of people willing to take extreme actions in the name of the paedo prophet.
I'd like to point out that I don't really agree with borders in that sense, and that I see immigration as a good thing. But if you are going to stop immigration, then religion (or at least, likely religion) is probably the best reason to do so.
He's kicking the hornets nest I think (or rather Bannon is by proxy). These bans are more likely to prompt an attack than stop one and that's probably what they want IMO. It's a power grab and they need to legitimise it somehow. So, there is little terrorist threat and Trump has got it all wrong, but then again it's all a plot by trump to use a terrorist attack to grab almost unprecedented powers.
