You are not allowed to completly stop your run. Lewandowski just kept an ever so slightly forward movement.
Personally I think it shouldn't be allowed to have a run in like that. Should be a flowing movement without change of pace.

Seems our cb’s are having to try and force the play because our midfield pivot isn’t creative enough and keep passing it back to them.

Should be able to do what you like, the ball isn’t in play until the kick is taken.

Second at least he was right where he spilte be, would be really strange if the RCB in a back three was at the back post.

Had the other Argentine players agead of him played with his aggression perhaps the cross doesn't get there.

Obviously picking Maddison was purely to appease the media as Southgate is never going to play him, not even at 3-0 up with 20 to go he brings on Mount instead

Yeah I was thinking the same.
Anyone that he perceives to be weak defensively or not a hard worker maybe , doesn't even get ten minutes.
Pointless bringing on mount , who was completely invisible.

He has had issues with Maddison previously, basically mucking about the whole time, not listening, the casino incident too

2 good chances that if he had been in the correct position, could have prevented from happening. He does it in a Spurs shirt aswell, the guy is reckless.
