The best album of the 90's - Metallica vs Definitely Maybe

Loved the black album. But at the time oasis tapped into a generation of kids and spawned a monster. That album set the benchmark for all other bands trying to follow it. Not bad for a debut album. Any other time Metallica win. Oasis this time.

The best album of the 90's - Blue Lines vs What's the Story Morning Glory

Massive attack for me. Hugely influential and I still listen to it now. I might listen to one or two off of Wtsmg. Not oasis in their finest hour

But leftfield vs prodigy and rage vs gnr would have been easier to compare musical styles, rather than judge contrasting albums. Again not knocking it milo, you've made a top effort. Cheers.

The best album of the 90's - Moon Safari vs the Bends

There's only one French electro pop funky house duo whose album should be in this contest. And it's not air. Radiohead victory

The best album of the 90's - Grace vs Use Your Illusion (I and II)

The best album of the 90's - Nevermind vs Play

Nirvana made an album that was the soundtrack a generation of kids grew up with. Moby made the album that generations parents listened to whilst deciding what aftershave to buy.
