It's a small thing but it does add up to something. It builds a mentality into the squad. If we make losing games an unusual occurrence we can then turn the draws into wins. Being unwilling to lose is a fantastic attribute to have and one we just didn't have last season.

We've seen a fight in the way we defend that we haven't seen in the league for a long time this season.

They look furious when we concede.

maybe its a ploy to get him to be more matured and calm and an example for the young ones

I was generally really pleased with Frank today.
One small thing, I wanted the legs of Bergvall and Gray to come on sooner; Kudus was just walking around exhausted, various other players exhausted, get some fresh legs on sooner to keep energy levels up and "reduce/rotate the tiredness of the squad"!

And Vicario loves berating the younger players like Archie Gray and Bergvall. Like you say, he’s the opposite of calmness.

He's the only one who can hold the ball up at the moment so hard to take him off when we were getting penned back.

Not true, DCL won a header vs Danso, the ball went towards Vic who was barged as he caught it and won a freekick.
And DCL won a header vs Romero as Danso stayed rooted to the floor, when Leeds (Piroe?) had a good shot around 90 minutes which Vic beat out onto Udogie's forehead.

Sounds like he did multiple things different
For a start he played a 10 from the start
I have t seen anything back other than MOTD highlights but to me it certainly looked like multiple changes mid game

He swapped the striker (Richie replaced Tel) on 73 so that is straightforward.

Then on 74 he swapped the tiring #10 Xavi for a box to box Sarr to make us more solid as the team would naturally be getting more tired.

Then at 85 he made the big change, brought on a CB and took off the left sided attacker (Danso came on for Odobert)

Then on 90 mins brought on Johnson for Kudus to play on the right side.

I would have liked all of these subs 10 minutes earlier each, but that's just me, I always want to rest players up.

Seeing Palhinha charging around is superb right now, but he needs a bit of resting, he can't do too many 90s.
