Bornemouth playing the kind of football we're supposed to be doing. High press so effective we cant even get into their final third. Mixing up long and short balls. Problem they have is that they might not be able to keep it up for the second half let alone by December. This is a bad time to play them. Be good to have Solanke off the bench for some hold up play but of course that's too much to ask.

Vicario. I'd say Romero and VDV have been ok. Our defensive issues have come from out wide and structurally. They have had to deal with a lot and are just about coping.

They've crowded him out. They know he's our danger man, so anytime he gets near the ball two men press him with a 3rd covering. This is why we need more than just Kudus. If you only have one possessor of the ball it's too easy to just target that guy and shut down the rest of the attack.

Bournemouth essentially shutting down our right hand side by more or less man marking Romero and Porro in buildup and letting us attack down the left and there most things break down.
Need to either get Odobert in on the left, more creativity into midfield (Bergvall) or both. Or move Kudus into the 10 role with Odobert and Johnson wide. Need more ball progression from somewhere.

We're doing a lot of the work for them. Plenty of decent balls into Richy and he hasn't held one up. Plenty of poor passing and giving the ball away cheaply. We can't even take a throw-in properly.
