I think, if you decide to emphasise set pieces, you need to play a big, tall, strong side. And that’s something Arsenal have struggled with in breaking teams down occasionally because they’ve emphasised physicality. So I don’t think it’s a cheat code as such. It is though a great way to put fear in to ‘higher quality’ sides that will have emphasised guile.

I don’t blame Ange for wanting to build a side with guile. Equally I respect Frank’s approach for enabling us to compete with wealthier teams.
 
Fabian Ruiz is a bit of a difference maker, love him as a player. Someone I wish we could sign tbh.

Again though fantastic defensive hustle from us even though they did get it in the back of the net in the end albeit offside. I like that we are defending with real purpose. We are never going to concede 0 goals or chances but let's at least make the opposition work for them and that's something we just never did last term. omm
