So, what happened today?

Watched my local teams G19s reach the final of Norway Cup! That's quite something! They'll face Cedar Stars Academy of Ghana in the final tomorrow.

I myself never got further than beating the Brazilian team Peqeninos do Jockey, that always used to win it, and reach the QF.

I struggle to think of a worse band.

Please accept my sympathies.

I'd love to see Coldplay again. Saw them back in 2003. Brilliant. I'm not a huge fan or anything, but they have a lot of excellent songs. Just listened to Strawberry Swing the other day. Yellow is ace. That Kraftwerk cover, Talk! Orphans. They're hit Machines! Great band! Haha.

My phone got fudged today after 6 years. I hate having to get new phones, so many to choose from and they're all so expensive.

Went for a swim in the fjord the other day. 23 degrees in the water. It was nice.

23 degrees is also totally wrong. As is Coldplay

Parachutes is a work of art. If anyone can properly listen* to that album and tell me that Coldplay are brick / total toss it tells me a lot about that person's ability to appreciate music.

Take Oasis, I despise the band and whole vibe that goes with it, but if you can really sit through what's the story morning glory and still say they're brick, you've not gone in with an open mind.

*I mean really listen to it, with a solid sound setup with full attentiveness without the paper thin attention span that has afflicted generations of every age group.

coldplay very quickly disappeared up their own arse after that though

they became intolerable for me

Saw AC/DC for the sixth and last time tonight in Oslo. More nostalgia than anything these days, but still fun to see the oldies keep on rocking.

Musically they're way over the top, unfortunately, but not unexpected with Brian pushing 78 and Angus 70. Sadly the sound was not the best, which didn't help.

Even more sadly, you could tell Angus was struggling at times. Thunderstruck was played at a much slower pace than normal, and it sounded at times like he played stuff wrong - although that could be because of the poor sound.

Glad I went, but even if they somehow manage to go on another tour, this will remain my last AC/DC concert.

I like Trouble. The rest not so much. I don't hate Coldplay. I just don't like them either. It is just what you like or don't really and i listen them more than I would like to as my kids play them. I'm sure you wouldn't like the brick I listen to either but my main point is the water is too warm.
