Tom Huddlestone
Two CBs off
I was happy about his appointment, at the time thought he had done well at Wolves. Again it's up to the Board to support their man, if they really believed in him. They didn't really want him so got rid. His position would not be untenable a dozen games into the season.@SpurMeUp is correct, I was there, the crowd went toxic on Nuno, was booing his subs, usual "you don't know what you are doing"
Let me fix that -> it was reported that we went for 20 other managers
Again, I even remember this board, no one saw the logic at the time of hiring a non-toxic manager who had manager to get Wolves to European positions, to get Spurs 1 or 2 spots higher ..
Let's not be silly, this is Tactics Tim we're talking about.
Talking without drooling and tying his own shoelaces is quite the achievement for him.
Who ever is playing a CB is making the same sort of errors in the past 18 months or so.
VDV/Romero/Davies/Danso/Gray/Dragon
We are lacking passers in cm to work the ball forward.
Odobert, Tel and Spence (Porro as well maybe?) have done well once we get it to them. But noone else is stepping up at all.
Porro should have got a clear header tbf. Was cr@p.Tottenham shoot themselves in the foot again.
As soon as Pedro Porro gets the first touch on the cross Dejan Kulusevski is already off running and thinking about a counter attack.
You can't think that. The edge of the box is where the danger is. Do your job first and then think about going forward.
That just sums Tottenham up under this manager.
I cant stand Jamie Carragher but he is spot on with that
Our central midfield, bar Bergvall and the occasional Maddison cameo, has been utter brick. Non existent almost.
Good Lord, this bloke in the studio (Will Still) is a bundle of fun
So VDV and Romero both off....
Why start them if they only had 45mins in them.
It's cm we need to change

Something the needs attention in the summer windowOur central midfield, bar Bergvall and the occasional Maddison cameo, has been utter brick this season. Non existent almost.

Your standards are low. We've had one decent chance (The Richy one). Tel's was a snapshot on his weak foot at a crap angle. Beyond that we haven't actually opened them up. The wide guys are playing well individually but this is how Nottingham Forest play. They aren't a possessional dominant team and have no interest in being so, so having lots of the ball against them means Diddy squat if you're not actually playing incisively and we are not.Well we deserve to be drawing or winning based on chances created IMO, which to me is a good performance against a top 5 team.
Is there anything that Kane wasn't responsible for?It was the players that needed sacking. They refused to play for Nuno and you could tell the ring leader was the England captain. The players didn't give the man a chance and the fans stupidly fell for it and blamed the manager, not the players. That dressing room was toxic.
