***OMT Tottenham Hotspur v Aston Villa***, PL, Sat 19th Sept 2026

The fella is in an environment where losing has been normalised, losing at home almost expected, the club has been dysfunctional and confidence through the floor.
I agree with a lot of what you say but this is a new team pretty much. It's a very different team to which won the EL and arguably better than we had last season. So it's not the continuity that is killing us. It's the preparation, fitness and fitting square pegs in round holes. That's down to the manager and his choices.
You’d pull the trigger if we don’t win in the next 2?
No I don't think so. I generally like to give manager 's time. But those games should give us an idea of whether he can turn this around. He has some time to prepare now.

Somebody posted recently that if you keep flirting with relegation then eventually you'll get pulled in. So we need to turn this form around quickly.

Then why were we putting crosses in? I agree with what you are saying so it shows all these players that have been bought for RDZ are tactically inept.
I don’t know
I’ve seen today that so far …
Kinky is brick and he was at fault
Solanke missed the chances he got
Micky ain’t a captain
Tonali can’t run
Savio and Kudus can’t pass
And Marmoush should be playing CF
All can be true but all are also opinions
I think the focus needs to be much more on the set up of the team and also the tactical way he is trying to play
Every team we have played have set up relatively deep and given us no space
We have NO plan for that so far
We then concede and lose
That’s weak
Then add in his repetitive fitness comments….

5 wins in 36 games at home - im a glass half full kinda guy - but its beginning to feel like a chore rather than a pleasure - its never been this dull for so long - Had a ST since 2000 and with the lad for last 5 years - took me 2 hrs to get to game today (I live 30 miles away) got there 10 mins late and left on 70 mins - im 48 maybe ive just a general disconnect from football - but id have rather played golf .... There is undoubtibly better play than the last few years of dross but got we are crap up front .... Its a team with stage fright - we gifted two goals today ... Robinson should have let it go out or Kinsky should have claimed ... Van heck is dogbrick his first contact to jackson was terrible .. too many mistakes ... walkover .... Nice to see mates when i do a full day but as a mild drinker it aint much fun other than that .. id guess all in its about 4 k a year .. thats a nice holiday - some nice courses or lots of coke and hookers ... TV never felt so inviting - Arsenal .. maybe bodo last time i enjoyed the game and atmosphere ... Grumpy old cnut giving his 2p's worth

I’d give him to Palace or Leeds. We’ll beat Coventry though.

We’ve spent a fortune bringing in some good quality players, we’ve given a manager more control at last and he has a proven track record in this league and at a big club in Marseille that all say to me that we just need patience. It will come. You can’t fix what we’ve become in a few weeks.

I’ve absolute confidence in him and wouldn’t even begin to think about his job until November comes around.
Not so confident

It doesn’t matter who the coach is or who the players are, we’re fckd with every combination we try

That's the thing, isn't it? What the hell is wrong with our football club? Brighton, relative to their means, constantly loses their best players, yet are always competitive (punching in or above their weight) and fun to watch. Don't get their coach or their best players, don't get that one geezer they've got that you think makes the difference - study and copy their entire organization and scale it up.

Or, you know, just call Uri Geller and have him faff away this curse somehow.

What is going on?
Quite simply, does anyone at this club actually know anything about football?
We’ve lost our soul, and looking at how things are going, I’m really worried about the future; we’re more about business than football now—haven't we become a bit too comfortable and complacent?
Where are our values? Where are our former players? Where are our young talents? We’re just following the trend set by the likes of Chelsea and their ilk...

Money helps, but it isn't everything.

None of our former players are speaking up to point out the failings.

On another day we would have been 3-0 up. That’s my positive.
Our body language on the pitch worries me. Sullen faces. Lack of communication. Fear.
Remember when there was joy? It was some time ago, granted. Smiles? They all went with Sonny.
Truth is our component parts do not fit, or cannot play the way RDZ wants them to. Or is the way that RDZ wants us to set up just plainly wrong? Is he asking players to do what they have been schooled not to do for the whole of their professional lives? Round pegs and square holes kind of vibe. I’m scratching my head looking for answers tbh…
After scratching my head for a bit longer I realised that one big problem is that we’ve lost our DNA. Just what are we now and who is it than controls us? Sure ain’t lilywhite…

We’ve circled the drain for two seasons now. Will it be this season we go. I’m worried.

Yes there’s positives but how the club have not added a striker is negligent. City have had our pants down with Marmoush and Savio. Their end product is atrocious.

Solanke, I was against this when it first popped up. Awful awful striker. Offers nothing.

Jan window is difficult to add real quality. So RDZ needs to figure it out lively.

Also the business we done with Brighton looks poor. Lad we offloaded looks better than what we have currently.

As for mentality we were so poor for 15 odd after our disallowed goal. Like we had tossed it off .

RDZ gone by Xmas Is a very real possibility.
