and it was another deflected pass that just happened to run to an unmarked man. Like the Saudi Sportswashing Machine goal. We cant catch any breaks it seems.
 
Glad I didn’t wake up at 4:30am to watch it. Alarm went off and I went back to sleep for 2 hours.

Furstrsting. Feels like that’s the 5th game in a row now including Liverpool where has we scored early we would have gone on to win comfortably.

That suits the team imo
We found him twice you say… doesn’t that say a lot about how we play and pass to our CF?
Solanke imo isn’t the issue
It’s playing with an incredibly stodgy midfield that doesn’t pass forward and the he takes off the best passer of the lot
That’s a managerial call

Bro, we found him twice in the penalty box in time and space and his lack of touch and control meant he didn't even get a shot off. So yes that says a ton about Solanke and his lack of quality. How many times was Manzambi found in the box yet he scored one today. How many times was Jackson found clear and in space in our box today? I don't think that happened even once yet he also managed to score. How many flipping chances do you think he needs to be spoon fed?🤣🤣🤣

Solanke not getting on the end of any of the chances that actually led to shots is again on him. How is it other players except our striker were capable of recieving the ball in the box and getting a shot off? Yet Solanke can't do that. But that's not down to him at all because he's not a problem. 🤣🤣
 
Was there any post match drama in interview? I jumped in an Uber and got home fairly quickly.

Or was it:

- Not fit enough
- Not prepared enough
- unlucky
- not got the players we need

I remember one in front of me where the ball was passed behind him and he fumbled it
Can’t remember another

But the lack of creativity starts way before him

It’s why we have such low xG
