Yeah he needs to be doing better. The performances haven’t been great but it is early days and you would think with the quality we now have in this squad, better days are ahead. I like him though and I’m certain he sees everything we do. We were poor defensively first 2 games but then better yesterday. Im sure he will get the attack firing soon.

Welcome. You could make the point that he’s won 3 league games from 10 and that’s he’s spent 350m and we can’t score. It’s too narrow an argument for me though.
IMO, I expect us to look like a proper side by end October. Until then, RDZ has a free pass pretty much as far as I’m concerned.

The lack of a #10 who can link midfield and attack is what we are sorely missing. Once Madders and Kulu are back I think we will start to see what this team can be.
Overall, we dominated the majority of the game at a notoriously difficult ground for us. We weren’t great but were solid and never looked like losing. Every performance has been better than the one before…the literal definition of progress.
We all knew the attack was our weakest area. It will take time but all we can ask is to see improvements each week. If/Once it clicks this could be the football we have been waiting for.

The forwards don't have to win the first ball. They just have to be able to challenge for the ball so that the defender can't head the ball to where they want to, the idea is then that one of our midfield or other attackers pick up the second ball and you attack from there against a defence that isn't well organised.
Also the graphic above looks wrong.... What about the ball Kinsky played to Marmoush about half way through the second half? Where Marmoush cut inside and shot over the bar instead of squaring it to Kudus for a much easier chance?

He definitely played one long ball out of his hands in the second half that found its man. I think it was the one to Marmoush where he should have squared it to Kudus for a simple finish. (Edit, I see Finney beat me to this point)
But anyway I think the general point I agree with, I’d prefer a presence up there in Solanke to give Kinsky more of a target to hit to mix up our build up.
