Well I have already explained that, I think it absolutely is because I don't think any two set of circumstances are the same here or abroad once you leave a set up you thrived in

We are signing two players from City whose best performances have taken place abroad, in Savinho case his only good sustained form came abroad (I take Marmoush has been very good here but I don't think its a greater body of work than abroad), so I think my general point stands and people are celebrating (rightly) players who's proven form looks better abroad than being PL proven and we are paying 150m for them

I dont care in terms of the context of this forum, we are having a conversation between us, not RDZ, so can we refrain from these attempts to shutdown conversations with nonsensical points???

OK so you answered one question, you don’t feel the gamble is any different. I disagree with you but you’re entitled to your view.

I’m not trying to shut down a conversation, just asking a question (that you have avoided).

Let me ask ithe question a different way. Why do you think De Zerbi has exclusively signed players from the PL this season?

Let's end by saying our best ever foreign signing in recent times looked like he was struggling with the demands of the PL for the whole of his first season, and asked Poch that following summer to leave. The rest is history.

Avoiding a question about if RDZ shares my view? Seriously? We aint 12 and Im not debating him, I am debating with you

But for the record and to quench your thirst for a reply, he likely doesnt share my view based on this window, but i suspect not every signing that improves us will come from the PL like I dont suspect every signing this summer will be a success, so we would likely both be wrong....and right

doesn't make sense to sack levy then...even if levy didn't have the cash he could have accepted a dilution of his shares

It’s my silly game to say that I think signing players who have already proven they can handle the pace and physicality of the PL is less of a gamble? I’m not sure what even makes that a game, let alone a silly one?

I thought the silly game was naming selective players to try to prove/disprove the above but I suppose the rules for this silly game are set by you ;)
