agree. totally different conditions and requirements. with preseason and a longer term project, RDZ needs to think about backups and succession.
RDZ had seven games to save us and could only use players that were ready immediately. He can worry about improving players when they are back

Absolutely, but could he cope with the demands of the PL now? I love Harry, but have doubts if he'd cut it in the PL as he used to do.

I’d like to believe he’s got at least another couple of seasons left. Bundesliga isn’t great, but it still takes a lot of skill and effort to put up Kane’s numbers. He may not be as quick, but get people running around him and he’ll be lethal in and around the box.

Absolutely. He's one of the best, if not the best, finisher in the world, and that's a skill he'll still have. But the PL is a different level than the Bundesliga, and he's been there for a few years. It will be harder for him if he returns, and I'm unsure how well he'll be able to perform now, compared to his last seasons for us.
He can kick and head the ball into the net. I'm OK with that!
Me too! If he can still do it in an increasingly physical PL.

Personally, I think Harry is too smart to head back to the PL.

Why would you give up that amazing feeling of putting the ball in the back regularly in leagues that accommodate your playing style? That's not a dig at the Bundesliga per se for being easier, but perhaps more of a dig at the current PL. Harry could go stay where he is and have a load of fun at Barca or RM. He could also head to PSG etc and win it all, stepping into the shoes of some much loved players of yesteryear. He could play in Italy as well.

As much as I would be ecstatic if Harry Kane came back to Tottenham, I am also realistic in my thinking that it is going to happen. I do however agree that with all the money that the team has spent to this point, the biggest concern that they have yet to address is a Striker and that is what they need to spend on in the remaining time. I feel with the additions of what they have already added and a goal scorer they could be headed to the top of the league.
dezerbi in new zealand mentioned that he wants top players and having worked the defence and midfield, the club is focusing on at least 2 more in attack. hopefully we get it done early enough.
