I agree with you in several senses, and am personally a HUGE fan of both Bergy and Sarr. Your point about chaotic is on point; Bergy was superb for us in Ange's last season, beyond his years for sure. The risks of cashing in on them would be huge, no doubt whatsoever. I just have a feeling that RDZ is going to make a couple of eyebrow-raising changes, and that perhaps they would be potentials?
I think the issue becomes keeping all happy. Palhinha, Gallagher, Bergvall, Gray, Sarr, Bentancur. If you include Maddison and Xavi in that core that's 8 midfielders on the books and an imbalance towards power over passer. I just don't see that holding for this season, and think RDZ is going to want to bring at least one or two in. I think (as stated) an Alex Scott would be great for us for several reasons, and I agree with
@Bedfordspurs on his Wharton take. It is going to be really, really interesting to see what happens. Honestly, it could just be a really unfortunate balance v numbers game too!
