[AS] Emirates Marketing Project have started contacts over signing Tottenham’s Pedro Porro, and possibly before the World Cup. The player and his club are both aware of Emirates Marketing Project’s efforts, while Spurs do not want to lose the right-back and have set a £50M starting price.

All players are available if someone offers you a chunk more than you expected AND you have a really good replacement in mind for cheaper.

Nobody is, but the players you mention have unique traits, we don't need to sell, so it needs to be worth our time and the risk of replacement.
- If you want to play a high line and need the world's fastest CB, you don't get to pay 70M (standard rate)
- Similarly, I don't think 50M for Porro (a WB who can play FB and has some of the highest offensive numbers in the league over 4 years) is a bite your hand off offer.
I remember when we apparently asked for Sancho in the Walker deal and got told to do one.

Not true from what I heard at the time. City were prepared to let him come to us but we couldn't agree terms.
Ahh ok others on this board said different - likely bullet dodged but I still think there's a good player in there. Just needs the right manager and environment.
