Selling brick is hard
Selling overpriced brick even harder

The City court case findings are rumoured for June, where our potential reprieve might come
Take a trip to Sosua to relax a littleI don't post much but in 60 years of being Spurs I have not felt such anxiety. Even 1977 didn't phase me much.
Being in the Dominican Republic the game starts for me at 11am and I shall watch alone at home.
I am also contemplating to have a concrete block with a rope attached to attach to my leg and jump in the deep end of my pool should the worst happen.
My only other quantum of solace is that there are no nearby goons or anyone to gloat. Any pain will be mine to endure in solitude (and on here)

How we could do with one of our attackers turning into Sonny for 90 minutes tomorrow!
I live in Sosua for the past 27 years
I remember a final day game back in the 90's (92 iirc) against Everton, we were 3 up at 1/2 time, ended up drawing 3-3, so even if we go 3 up I won't be sitting comfortably!Imagine going 2 or 3 goals up. What joy and merriment would ensue in yonder hostelry across the adjacent thoroughfare.
Sadly being Spurs surely means we all must have a masochistic streak inside somewhere. The paradise outside my door is there 24/7Just googled that and not jealous at all. Why watch hell on TV when you quite literally have paradise right outside your door?![]()

I hate the “journey” metaphor so I apologise in advance for using it.Very good to hear from you; I hope we start to hear lots more!
Got it on the anxiety, and am completely with you.
I’m not going to the game now, partly to do with logistical difficulties, but I may have been able to find a way around those if I’d really tried.
There is a large part of me that is happy to watch this at home, with one of my Spurs supporting daughters, with the ability to take a few minutes out in the garden, or to go walk the dog if it’s all going to s hit.
I can’t wait for the agony to be over tbh. Been awake at 5.00am every morning this week. Keep telling myself it’s only a game but…![]()
Boethius - Consolation of Philosophy. Amsterdam and the UEFA cup win were sweeter because we'd lived through Sugar, Gross and Graham. Our successes in a decade time will be sweeter because we've lived through Nepos, Frank and MourinhoI hate the “journey” metaphor so I apologise in advance for using it.
People always say that life is about the journey, not the destination. The enjoyment is about getting there.
The opposite is true. This last few months have been terrible. This week, since Chelsea, has been pretty much relentless, worsening stress and worry. I know, to quote Klopp, that football is the most important of the unimportant things but it plays a huge role in our lives. I hope that, if we go down, relegation is something we just accept and deal with and it’s not a continuation of the last few months.
Good news because my prediction record is dire. Particularly if I’m feeling positive going into a Spurs game we almost inevitably fudge up. I’m not positive about this one. That’s good news?! What’s the bad news![]()
