Interim manager thread 2.0

De Zerbi up for the fight apparently and has made a U turn in saying that he wants to take a break until next season.

I think he would do a better job than what we have currently

So boys, is it 'official' then? Is this entire season -awful abject performances, lack of points, injuries- all Ange's fault?!!!

FML...

Hopefully Deki's noble sacrifice to keep us up shall be remembered and we'll give the poor lad a testimonial for wrecking his knee whilst selflessly carrying our team.

If they want to make a change, they'd better do it fast. We have some time before the next game; the longer the new manager gets to prepare the team for Sunderland, the better.

The funeral was yesterday I think. Still plenty of time but yeah, the sooner the better

It's quite incredible that pretty much everything that could have gone wrong has gone wrong this season. If you put yourself in Tudor's shoes and someone asked you to make an (quite) important decision when you just lost a loved one, you'd feel they're being unfair. But, unfortunately, our players don't seem that strong mentally and the constant noise about a replacement probably doesn't help.

Either you squash the rumours now or you pull the trigger. I don't really have an opinion on appointing someone else now. It depends on a lot of things we can't assess: the relationship between Tudor and the players, Tudor's state of mind...

Either way, the situation's not fair on Tudor. On a side note, it wasn't very fair on Conte either, but that's all in the past now anyway.

To be fair to Tudor, in the past three games he has eliminated the self-destruction tendency which occurred during his first four games (and for the past two years)

He got a consistent tune out of the team for five of the six halves during that span. He made some mistakes at HT against Forest but he has shown a propensity to learn from them and not repeat them.

If he can show a willingness to stick to one plan, he could be the guy to get us through this. Not saying he is, but there has been a noticeable uptick in our performances more recently under him.
