You don't have to take anything in to account from the time. People right now on this forum are struggling with this in 2026. It's just complex as they've overlooked his victims for years and haven't with others. It's now hard for them to explain so there's a fair bit of whataboutery. I'm not surprised.

I’m not sure about ‘whataboutery.’ Some of us were pointing out the potential hypocrisy of fans groups issuing statements about what De Zerbi said while remaining silent for years on issues of a similar nature which have been associated with the club for a lot longer than our new manager.

We should have asked Keanu Reeves to do the job, he may know f.a. about football but apparently he's a very nice person. It's right people should want decent people to be associated with the club but expecting any morality in professional sport is delusional. We are is the S hit and need to do what we can to get out of it. Some will think that's unacceptable and will be prepared to be relegated with their dignity in place. I know from experience that doing the right thing and standing by your principles rarely get you anywhere in business and no matter what fans think it's just a business, sport walked out of the door when they sold out to TV money.
