Igor the Interim

Thats where I am with it, I think we can all make as many statements as we like as fans or say who we want and make predictions on what would have should we appoint Harry and a band of ex players, but in reality given our situation, they outcome would be equally tough.

He has my backing because he is here and I am under no illusion how tough this job is currently, it was and still is a massive ask
Yeah, I think he's probably earned the Forest game at least and the whole stadium should be behind him and the team. Thought he played a massive part in that result today so I have to give credit where it is due. From the selection (Souza RM and Djed LB looked nuts to me but it worked), to the tactics, to the subs (I can't be the only one who rolled their eyes at Muani entering the fray).

If he gets us out of jail, I'll happily admit I was gloriously wrong. Some very good signs today, let's hope we carry it into next week and beyond.

This squad is patently better than the position it's in, which I would put at the door of Levy and Vinai ultimately - we tried to move from front foot to pragmatic football without adding any real quality bar Xavi, who if we do survive this will come good.

Romero is a better footballer by far than Dragusin but as a couple of people have said Cuti and also VDV look like they are not up for the fight. Micky especially has that face all game, and some of the quotes about avoiding his phone tell you all you need to hear.

I could be wrong and they may get going if the team they come back to has some momentum, but considering they are our leadership group, along with a very quiet madders on social media, we feel like we are depending on the Latin fire of Porro to get us going, and the consistency of Archie gray. Who by the way is going to be fantastic.

Not just probably. Would imo be really weird to sack him now. Got a performance out of a depleted squad, team also showed good resilience and fight in the CL game after the calamity of the opening 15-20 minutes (which definitely wasn't on Tudor).

There will be at the very least a bit of belief and confidence now. Need to build on that.

A question that's perhaps more for the future, right now the focus is obviously only survival in the PL.

But could this be a good learning experience for some of these players. It's probably the biggest mess any of them have faced in footballing terms. The pressure of a club our size potentially going down. The injuries. The absolute shattering of form and confidence. I think it's only normal that at least some players will respond in negative ways. Could they learn from this in a way that could prove useful in the future?

To me Cuti looks up for the fight. But the previous issues of discipline and rahsness have worsened and for sure that's been an issue now. Can he learn from this?

VdV seemed to lose his head a bit. The red card, what should have been a red card. Really liked his most recent comment though. Can he learn from this?

I think this can be an experience to learn from if we manage to stay up.
