These jokers…

That's fair and I think I'm just especially bitter after the past few years of failure and decline.
We were so close and we've somehow managed to go backwards.

I’m not sure it is fair. We’ve undoubtedly been in a decline since Poch left which has culminated in finishing 17th in the league and could ultimately end up with relegation this season. Even if you made the case that ENIC/Levy did a very good job for the first team 10-15 years, why should they get a life pass when players and managers don’t get that luxury? How many more years of decline should we tolerate?

Yeah, that's why I think Levy had got us as far as he was able, he just didn't have the ambition and willingness to take a calculated risk and push on that little bit more.
I was more than ready for him to go because as far as I'm concerned, he's failed us badly on the football side of things so while I'm not sure the "kids" are the answer, it's probably worth giving them a chance before rolling the dice in a whole new owner who could end end like the Glasners.

To me Levy was getting back to what for me seems like the best strategy for us. A clear DoF type in place, a focus on younger players with more established players mixed in. Get out of the Mourinho and Conte short term focus. Get away from the defensive solidity boring football approach.

Though I think that is the best strategy for us (as long as the owners aren't injecting massive amounts of money) that's also a strategy that takes time to make happen. Takes years to develop those younger players properly.

What happened then in the summer and fall to me is baffling. Particularly as Paratici was given a DoF role again and reportedly didn't want Frank. Flip flop back to defensive first football.

If that was on Levy I would agree that his time here was up. A bridge too far. I'm not sure it was.

For the new people in charge they've used up any good will they may have had from just not being Levy in no time and we're in a really difficult situation now. We're months past the rumours of Paratici leaving starting (and given what happened probably those rumours were true). We have no clarity, no DoF. Lange talking about not panicking as we slide into a relegation battle, Frank being half backed in January only to then be sacked.

Would that have been dealt with better by Levy? Would Paratici who was quite clearly Levy's man still be here had Levy still been here? Impossible to know. But we know Levy had experience dealing with situations like this. I'm not so sure about the new lot.

Lucky for them that we’re a rather more phlegmatic bunch than Torino fans 💩

… have appointed the wrong interim have’t they?

Losing the first 2 games is not why I think this. It’s the fact that there has been no fight.

The nepos are taking us down.

And all of you that were Levy out, will have blood on your hands (only half joking on this)

We've set up defensively and coughed up multiple chances throughout both games - i can't say I'd think things would have been any different if we hadn't made the change.

We are fudged with the players that we have available currently - have nothing that can link effectively between defense & attack and we're brick at both ends too 😂/😭

It’s not just the players we have available though.

It’s about a lot of things but every freaking team looks much more up for it than we are.

And everything we do looks so slow and disorganised.

The minimum the Interim should do is install belief and a siege mentality in us… Igor hasn’t done that.

There’s always a team that starts the league quite well and then drops like a stone. After 10 games or so I thought that was going to be Sunderland as opposed to us!

I don't think the fatigue element can be discounted here. Tudor raised this before the Fulham game and you can see it playing out. Whether that's players who are playing every game, or those who are coming back and doing too much due to lack of cover.
I do think Tel should have been used more though.

You just have to hope that we get a decent team once we are in the Championship and don't do a Coventry or a Sheffield Wednesday. Relying on one of Nottingham Forest or West Ham to be even worse than us is no place to be. If the drop is beckoning, so be it, we might get out the other side and find a decent manager, a decent team etc. Can't be worse than losing every time we play and having a toxic atmosphere half the time.
