Why is he a plonker? He's the penalty taker. If it was Kane in that situation and he took the pen (which he 100% would do) nobody would've given it a second thought.

I'd rather Scarlett got the chance for the pen as that might well have added something to him. A reward for being positive and impacting the game directly. Richy isn't here in the long term or maybe even the medium term, is very likely 3rd choice at best so yeah i wouldn't be too concerned with giving him the pen.

I’d only boo him if I thought he was showing a lack of effort which I’m never concerned about with him. I just want us to sell him. He’s not good enough. I would say try and flog him back to Everton but they probably wouldn’t want him as they have better than him already.

I disagree. I don’t think he’s clearly better than either of them. Certainly not better than Grealish either who plays on the left.
