Johnson is our main goal threat, but that's more a worry for the team than a badge of excellence. We as a team are good, even great in bursts and short spells, which can be good for cups but bad for league. A Xavi or Eze will or would not have changed that. New manager bounce lasted exactly 2 games. We must strive to replace perennial underperformers having obviously hit their ceiling, no matter the occasional great game. 2 great games does not balance out 2 seasons of averageness (in general, not thinking about Johnson).
That is if we want to be somewhat top 4 relevant again, of course. If we want to linger around mid-table focusing on cups, everything is awesome.
