*** OMT Tottenham Hotspur v AFC Bournemouth ***

That was shockingly bad. And for someone so famed for his tactical acumen......barely anything changed. For such a horrific performance, surely you use your 5 subs?
I think he made the right subs but too late andin the wrong order.

I don't think we actually have much depth in terms of possible changes tbh. The squad isn't that great and tbh the starting 11 isn't even complete imo.

Will pay close attention to Frank's words post-match to see what he's willing to publicly say about this.
We already know that Simons is here so that is something new that automatically comes in.
But considering the starting XI were from the City game, there's something not right here.

We were completely bullied in midfield throughout the whole first half. Nothing changed at half time. Bergvall made a bit of an impact but that was more because Bournemouth slowed down a bit.

We never ever looked like seriously getting back into it, and if we had it would have been one of the biggest injustices in football history.

Be interesting to see how the fans back the manager in his third game in charge and reason his performances compared to the allowances that were made for worse performances last couple of years.

Bergvall should have started we needed someone who can hold the ball in midfield and pass the ball.

I probably would have taken Danso on in second half and moved Romero up on top alongside Richy and crossed the ball more last 15 min.

If we don't give him games there never will be product. Johnson gets end product but off the work of others.

Give Odobert the games where the rest of the team is actually performing well and I think you will get end product from him also. Maybe not as much as Johnson but the overall balance will be in credit due to his contribution as well.

As I constantly say I don't think Johnson's goals make up for his lack of playing ability and non contribution, he's not a striker, we can't afford to carry him otherwise you get games like today.
If Johnson doesnt score, the rest of his game ,like tonight, is terrible. Shouldnt be a starter. We needed to buy a striker. We cant rely on him, Richy and Solanke. Just not consistent at all.

tinkle poor performance. Didn't start playing until the subs came on. Not really sure why Frank didn't make them at half time.
Johnson and Porrowere poison, don't know why at the least Odobert and Udogie didn't come on for the two of them.
I say it all the time and I'll say again. Porro is not a good defender but he offers a lot offensively. We just have to accept that he is often going to get tangled up and beated by a decent attacker because well it's just not his strength.

Johnson I've said enough about him. It's nothing new at this point.

Do you personally see this high ceiling? I'm not gonna call him brick but I see nothing in him impressive or speculatively so. Bayern didn't rate him that highly lets be real, that's why they were so eager to sell him.
But we already have Odobert I see nothing in Tel saying he is or will be a better player, we can't have the team full of possible prospect on the same position? None of them are ready now as I see it, the Tel money would have been better spent on a ready now player.

You can see he's got talent. He needs confidence as well, obviously. He came in at the tail end of a terrible season for us, put in some decent performances, but didn't tear it up, which would be too much to ask for a lad thats 19.

Well, I assumed we had a plan to use him when we made it permanent, but I do find it baffling that we're now seemingly trying to sign another LW. Supposedly he can play as a striker as well. We'll see. Maybe we'll loan him out.

Had a feeling this was going to be a difficult game. Had it as a 1-1, but unfortunately we couldn't get that equaliser. Just have to make it better next time.
Remember what Frank said; the only thing that is 100% certain, is that we will lose games. Just have to make sure those are as few as possible. Ref was terrible! That fat bald clam, Simon hooper, is as bad as it gets! Totally unfit for the job. Literally!

With Kudus ahead of Porro I'd rather a safer defender, especially if up against a winger as good as Semenyo.
And he was poor offensively too today.

Still, it's nice this has happened early in the season. So many of the Spurs fans who love to wallow in misery must have been getting a little scared that their favourite pastime was leaving. Now they can enjoy themselves a little ;) It's bad enough with the few on this forum, so I'll avoid social media for a while as they'll no doubt emerge in droves to loudly proclaim their dissatisfaction and stomp like little Veruca Salts.
I'm just glad this has happened early to ensure that there's no complacency in the minds of Frank, his staff and hopefully the layers about just how long and hard a road this truly is.
