Eberechi Eze

That they couldn't do in 2 years, or especially the last 3 months.

Our first decent link with him was actually only 9 days ago (last Monday)
We have been sniffing around him for an age as we should. He is quality
But I do agree Arsenal have just fudged around with this dead cert deal that would probably put me off them (but I ain’t a pro getting paid £200k)

Why?
Honestly we can get other players in
Simons is available… loved him before his injury
Akliouche is set to explode it seems but IMO form the very little I’ve seen won’t work on the left
There is the lad form Leicester whose name I can’t spell
There are many players we can get for the money we clearly were happy to spend here ans MGW ans is guess players that really wanna come here
We wouldnt need Akliouche from the left. He needs to be as well as Savinho. We were slightly crowbarring Eze in as an off the peg 10

I have failed as a Dad as my wife has bought my son a Gooner shirt. Alas, I am no more guys. I bid you a fond farewell as this is the last I can do for my beloved Spurs, as they (Levy) have failed us. I am going now and this is my last ever post.

I have moved home, my Spurs man cave is no more, I will not build a Spurs man cave, and it is my last year as a ST holder. with all games being sold. Levy will not get one more penny out of me or my family other than what he has got from my St this year and I will let my son support a team that backs their fans and fights for titles.

If it means I go and watch them and end up supporting my son and his team then so be it, but that is Levy's fault not mine.

I wish you all the very very best and I do hope you win more trophies, but I am now finally out from the evil that is Tottenham Hotspur FC.

Whilst some will most likely say good riddance, I do hope you somehow understand my decision to not follow Spurs anymore.

It is only because this is the lowest blow, more so than when Sol left us. and I want no part in this feeling or club ever again.

Adios,

Always yours

See ya

The ugly side of 2025 football...
Its true though. If your insight is correct as well, that we decided to put all this effort in to publically humiliate ourselves over a player every man and his dog was saying would go to Arsenal this summer, who.....the head coach had to be f*cking talked into being on board with in terms of fitting in to his system then...we deserve everything we f*cking get. Absolute circus club doesn't even get close.

Seppuku seems like a fair response to failing your son like that

And that is where it doesn't make sense...to finally get involved in bidding after standing out most of the summer, only to rev it up in the last 9 days or so, get within pen-distance and then dingdonger around? Bizarre...

Again, i think we could actually end up better off balance/Frank-wise with other signings, and the procedure behind this dance is optically damaging...

I personally think Eze being a goon as a kid is not a huge factor. Remember, they broke his heart too, a heart which was happy to be healed by 200k or so a week of our money. He just wants a CL club move away from Palace and in London. He was ready whichever NL post code...

Paddy Power, while humorous, are also poisonous. All of their social media is just aimed at being negative about someone and providing the other 19 clubs a laugh at the other club’s expense.

It’s lowest common denominator stuff but gets the clicks which is fairly depressing. Our turn this week, it’ll be someone else next week.

13 pages in 3 hours! What's happened to this place? I expect the meltdown on twitter etc. (I swear some of the regulars on there are actually enjoying this because it gives more oomph to their Levy out campaign).
If he is indeed Woolwich bound and was holding out for them to come in with a bid then good riddance.
Sounds like we may have been played here but not sure what else we could have done (bid the release clause fee and Woolwich just come in and match it anyway).
Let's see what happens tomorrow. If it's dead we move on to the next target.

They're just having a laugh. You've got to be able to laugh at yourself and ourselves. In this very thread when it went down the download analogy I said we'd get to 99% and hit a fatal exception error and we did. We agreed terms and got f*'ked over at the last minute.

Agree, sadly there is too much sense in that for the bedwetters.
