He clearly loves us so why not come and manage us haha
They are successful managers though and were intimidating because of it. Not sure it worked for the likes of Mark Hughes or Sam Allardyce. We don't complain about them mate.
Simple as that. That's why we get stuffed.
I hated our passivity when Harry was angling for the England job in 2012, when Poch was the one doing it, and I hate it now when Postecoglou does it.
The only way - the *only* way - refs will ever be fair to you is if you make them afraid. Pressure them, make them hate giving a decision against you, and you will do okay with them. That's what Mourinho, Conte, Klopp, SAF, and others learned long ago.
Refs need to be kept in perpetual fear. The longer we don't learn that, the longer we go getting these arrogant pricks reffing us like we don't matter.
He wouldn't succeed hereHe clearly loves us so why not come and manage us haha
Didn't enjoy the Ipswich game. I rarely get excited. I now just want us to win by any means. Don't even care how it looks like now. And would love for us not to hit 20 losses....but we are gonna or get super close to it. Anfield and Chelscum, wolves and spam away for starters.

I liked kulu goal! Generally my feelings have been blah. I enjoy beating Utd etc but not a great watch. People didn't like Jose and conte cos of how we played and we won games. I don't like us being open every week and hoping we don't get tanking in the first 20mins. Glad we won yes. Enjoy how our general play is. Not so much. You didn't enjoy a 4-1 win? Honestly...it's just impossible to read some of this brick.
First 20min I really didn't. I've explained myself in depth what I generally don't enjoy about our tactics on the whole. So when we win some great. You didn't enjoy a 4-1 win? Honestly...it's just impossible to read some of this brick.
I was happy with quite a few individuals, but as a team we were all over the place in the first half.Danso was a mountain in the second half as well! But so impressed with Grey as well! Maybe he will be a centre back?
Danso was in the wrong place a lot first halfI was happy with quite a few individuals, but as a team we were all over the place in the first half.
Vic, danso, Udogie, grey, Bergvall and Bentancur were all good individually, Odobert looked good in patches. As a unit we were bad.
If history is anything to go by, I think he would be a very good match for this squad. He has shown that he's great with hungry youngsters of potential, believing in a system. He has also shown that he's not that great with aging entitled veterans who's losing faith in said system.Poch would win the league in 26/27 with this squad
Danso was in the wrong place a lot first half
Udogie and Porro were horrendous too in that half
Not up with the pace if the game and weak one on one
That changed second half and we changed as a team
That and umpteen other reasons why we should get a proper manager. Im all for giving Tel a chance but just saying we are buying him already smacks of silliness and arrogance on Anges part.Thankfully we got him on loan without an obligation to buy.
Worryingly, Ange has said : we WILL be making his appointment permanent "
That's a reason to sack him, just for that alone but hopefully he isn't a man of his word.
Unless Tel improves we surely can't splash £40-50m in the hope he will develop and improve massively from what we are seeing.
I don't think he looked lazy, just wasn't sure what he was meant to doI agree , he needs to be played in his best position with the team functioning well but how's he going to get the chance to do that ? Ahead of Son who looks like he's hitting form , ahead of Odobert who we've already bought and invested in and who looks pretty good.
We surely can't gamble on him.
Maybe another loan for a further 6/12 months but I don't think we will get to see enough of him in his best position to make a solid judgement call.
He looks a bit lazy to me , I'm getting Ndombele vibes here.

Danso gave the ball away for goal from memory?
and he only got the ball because of a deflection, if it hadn't have it would have gone to our defenderNo-one was marking Haarland. Easiest goal he will ever score. OK it's hardly a settled defence but even so leaving Haarland unmarked is pretty dreadful ...
Taking players off after 60 minutes when they are just back from injury…. Baffling!Much better 2nd half but yet again Ange's subs baffle me. Takes Odobert off when he was looking like our most dangerous player. And then takes our creative spark in Maddison off for Werner near the end.
