Tottenham vs Manchester United OMT

I'm not following Solskjær outside having every major newspaper in Norway reporting what he eats and how much he sh*ts every single day, but as I see it at least he's not trying to be something he's not. He's not riding his past. He has also learned from arguably the best and most scary man manager ever. And even though it's taken time to implement his version while being backed by the board, he's looking well on track and they've gone back to winning games they play like donkeys. Football is always in motion and nothing is certain, but if he can secure a player like Haaland in the summer, he's in for the long haul.

Well he’s certainly lasted longer than expected. Don’t think it will be Haalamd he will be after. United have had a hard on for Kane for a long time so think it might be one of our own he’s after.

They would love Kane
If it was a normal season they would have the money too
But then so would we

To think that everybody thought he'd be gone before Poch. Solskjær also has more pulling power over Haaland than Kane on a personal level I believe. They would probably cost the same too, but they're not worth the same. Either way it's a litte bit scary.

Well let’s hope we keep our star man.

United would need to issue another share deal to fund that size of deal
They have made losses worse than us
And their profits have been siphoned off to the Glazers

Exactly. His agent is talking about him being a million pound a week player. Madness really in this current climate or any for that matter.

The dire finances about at the moment will be only reason we keep Kane.

I agree

kane like everything to do with Spurs has bad timing on his side

he is so Spurs it’s scary

We were half decent in the first half, but nothing more than that. No sign of a "Let's fudging win this at every cost" attitude at all. Just players playing at an OK level. None of them looked like they enjoyed playing football. United were also not very good.
In the 2nd half it looked like everyone was just waiting for the game to end.
I've had enough of this. It feels like the end of an era. We'll not be to 4-5 for a long time. The team will get dismantled, and it will be a painful and long process to build up the team to what we've had for the past 10 years. I seriously think we'll be 6th-8th for many years to come now.

No need for doom and gloom just yet, we barely looked like a team all season and we've managed to cling on to a top four challenge going in to the final run in - shouldn't take much to improve on the complete lack of direction we have seen this year

I agree
The right person running things
Three key signings
And ideally an easier volume of games will help

TBF they were very defensive first half
They had a McTominay and a CB man marking Kane (who still won the ball most times)
From what I saw today ... Jose is just biding his time before the boot
United haven’t improved under ole. Everyone else looks worse which has elevated them
If they actually had a top guy in charge and a few better players they wouldn’t fall behind in all these away games and would be more comfortable
Not that it affects us of course
Lo Celso had a good first half. Wasnt here second half. That was also when Pogba stepped up (the two aren’t related), but also Pogba should have been off for that elbow on serge

They are unbeaten in, what, 21 games away from home?...

Let's face it, this was predictable. All of it. This result, all our results recently, this binary dinosaur's slow death. People can wring their hands all they want about the past (we all have opinions and I said at the time I personally believed it was all a giant mistake) but the present is what it is. Indefensible.

And the future is inevitable.

Purgatory.
